I am going to work on creating a master email template that simplifies the process of creating email templates for Designers, Developers, and Product Owners.
This is 400+ email “templates” that currently exist
Creating a color palette sampled from all existing email templates. I removed colors that did not pass color contrast guidelines(WCAG)
I looked through all of the email templates and found common components then sorted them out and found which components could be variations of eachother and what could be simplified or just removed.
Finalized email template. It is one dynamic email template that can show or hide components as needed. This should prevent new email templates from being built out for a while.
A SendGrid transactional email reference tool. Users can view existing email templates through without having to have a sendgrid account.
This allows users to reference existing email templates without having to create new email templates. Preventing 100’s of “templates” from existing or being created.
